ARKANSAS HOUSING DATA DESK

Embedded statewide inventory is loading…Property inventory is available immediately. Current sources synchronize automatically in the background.

ARKANSAS • HOUSING ACCESS • PUBLIC EDITION

SUPPORT BEFORE CRISIS • NEEDS BEFORE JUDGMENT • ACCESS BEFORE OVERWHELM

Find the property. Check the vacancy. Understand the program. Verify the exact unit.

Arkansas housing data is not one list. ANCHOR separates durable property inventory from current vacancies, assisted-housing programs, managers, search routes, costs, access evidence and move planning so each record tells you what it actually proves and what still needs verification.

No account required for personal planning. Saved housing and setup stay on this device unless you export them.

HOW TO READ THE HOUSING SYSTEM

Four questions prevent most housing-data mistakes.

  1. Does the property exist?Use the statewide inventory to identify real properties, programs, managers and addresses.
  2. Is something available now?Look for a current vacancy/listing or verify the property waitlist directly. Property inventory is not vacancy.
  3. How is it paid for?Market rent, HCV, public housing, PBV, PBRA, LIHTC, Section 811 and rural programs use different rules.
  4. Will the exact unit work?Verify total cost, physical access, sensory conditions, communication, school/support routes and lease rules before committing.

Record type determines what the data can prove. A real property can exist without a current vacancy.

ARKANSAS HOUSING PULSE

Current source routeOpens the current inventory at the manager, portal or MLS-linked public source. It is not counted as a property.
Housing fit + support contextSensory, accessibility, disability, school, mental-health and community evidence.

ANCHOR NEURO-AWARE HOUSING FIT

Search the home, the route, the support system and the environment—not a diagnosis label.

Sensory + regulation

Sound transfer, vibration, odor/smoke, lighting, temperature, retreat space, privacy, predictable transitions and shared-area demand.

Disability + communication

Mobility access, written-first contact, AAC/typing, processing time, support-person access and exact-unit accommodation questions.

Children + schools

Pediatric routes, child-development supports, official school-district boundaries, IEP/504 continuity and caregiver logistics.

Mental-health support access

Community mental-health, serious-mental-illness and psychosis/schizophrenia service access, optional support intensity and housing stability resources.

Community context

Independent-living centers, inclusive peer/family supports, neighborhood organizations/watch groups and verified HOA/POA information.

Environmental context

Flood information, air quality, broadband/telehealth availability and transportation burden—kept separate from exact-unit observations.

Evidence rule: verified exact-unit information, property information, official area data, reported information and unknowns are shown separately. Unknown is never scored as a positive. ANCHOR does not rate neighborhoods as “safe for” or “bad for” a diagnosis.

How the housing process worksFind, verify, inspect, apply, lease and move without losing the steps.

ONE HOUSING WORKFLOW

Find it. Understand it. Check it. Move.

Each tool produces an action you can use—not just another explanation panel.

Renter + buyer explanationsPlain-language explanations, checklists and warning signs.

RENTING EXPLAINED FOUR WAYS

Use the explanation that makes sense to you.

ONE SENTENCE

Find a real unit → confirm total cost and rules → apply → inspect → sign → pay approved charges → get keys.

WHY

The listing is advertising. The application is screening. The lease is the agreement. The exact unit is what you will actually live in.

CHECKLIST

Vacancy • exact unit • total monthly cost • cash before keys • lease term • utilities • maintenance • access • sensory fit.

AVOID

Pressure to pay first, vague fees, no exact unit, no written criteria, inconsistent contact identity, or a lease you cannot review before payment.

Build a guided housing routeCreate next actions around the actual housing problem and support needs.

GUIDED ROUTE

Build the next steps around the actual problem.

No diagnosis is required. Choose needs, not labels.

Must address

HOUSING INSTABILITY / DISPLACEMENT

If time is short, do not search alone.

Use housing search, prevention funding, legal/rights help, disability accommodations and documented written communication together. ANCHOR can organize the route even when one program cannot solve the entire gap.

STATEWIDE SEARCH + LIVE INVENTORY

Search housing by record type, not by guesswork.

Results explicitly say whether they are live listings, official properties, direct research leads, managers, developments or external current-search routes.

MAP + MOVE-IN CALENDAR

See where housing is and what has to happen next.

Exact property pins appear when a source supplies coordinates. City/region fallback information is labeled as approximate rather than pretending to be an exact address.

ADDRESS CONTEXT — NOT A SAFETY SCORE

Check school, support, environmental and community context around an address.

Use official boundaries and public-service directories to create questions. Exact-unit conditions still require a visit or authorized unit-level evidence.

    HOUSING HELP + FUNDING

Match the program to the actual gap.

Rent, move-in cash, services, home modifications, utilities, legal help and home purchase are different problems. The system keeps them separate.

    TRUE MOVE-IN COST

Unknown fees stay unknown. They are not treated as zero.

    ARKANSAS HOUSING LEARNING CENTER

Learn what each housing number, program and record means before it affects a decision.

Start with the ten Housing 101 modules, then use the full publication library, rights guides and source-backed housing dictionary.

    HOUSING LAB + PERSONAL WORKSPACE

Use the numbers, then organize the decision.

Calculate affordability and ownership scenarios, compare HUD rent benchmarks, inspect market indexes and export datasets. Personal planning tools remain on this device.

SOURCE DESK + HOUSING INDUSTRY DIRECTORY

Know where a housing record came from and who operates it.

Official data, authorized feeds, managers, agents, portals and housing technology are different source types. They remain visibly separated.

    PUBLIC SYSTEM CHECK

Check the parts this browser needs.

Checks the public listing API, official property API, address-context endpoint, map rendering, local storage, offline-worker support and text-to-speech. It does not send your private Housing Workspace data.

Run the check if search, maps, live updates, school context or listening is not working as expected.

Government property dataHUD, USDA, PHA, LIHTC and other public records. Good for finding real properties; usually not a vacancy feed.
Authorized listing feedProperty-level availability from a partner ANCHOR is permitted to publish. Records can expire when the successful source refresh no longer contains them.
Manager / brokerThe organization or licensed professional operating or marketing housing. Verify identity and authority before payment.
Portal / technologySearch, application, resident portal, 3D, video or self-tour technology. A technology product is not a property listing.

    ARKANSAS MANAGEMENT RESEARCH

    Property management and realty systems

Research records are starting points. Verify the current licensed firm/person and property relationship before sending money.

    CORRECTION / NEW SOURCE

Help keep the public index current.

Submit a property/source correction, new public source or availability issue. Do not submit Social Security numbers, medical records, banking details or full identity documents.
